Where the real city lives — the pre-liberalisation urban estate sectors and the old town around Sadar Bazar, Old Railway Road and Civil Lines. It is home to the district's government spine (Civil Hospital, Mini Secretariat, courts), the city's oldest schools and its best street food, and it is chronically underserved by English-language media — a gap this site exists to close. 'Old Gurgaon' has no official boundary; we use the resident's definition and say so.
