The rules this site is built on. They bind every page, brief and widget.

Scope. City utility and city life: air, traffic, transit, civic services and projects, openings, events, schools, health facilities, property data. Not covered — ever: party politics, religion, communal topics, crime beyond official advisories, rumors, private individuals.
Aggregate and attribute. Every news item names and links its source. We do not originate breaking claims.
Verified or silent. Helplines and directory facts are published only from official sources, stamped with a verification date, and re-checked quarterly. Where we can't verify, we say so — or say nothing.
Honest freshness. Every data widget shows "as of" and its source. When a feed fails, we show that it failed rather than dressing up stale numbers.
Labelled estimates. Projections and bands always carry their basis.
AI disclosure. Compiled each morning by an AI analyst from cited sources, reviewed by a human editor.
Corrections in 48 hours, logged publicly.
Commercial separation. Sponsored slots are labelled. Curated lists are never pay-to-play. Directory inclusion is never sold.
